Cleveland HiBore XL NonConforming?’s – Equipment – GolfWRX
Been playing for over 30 years. And for me, with this club, is good for and the occasional yarder on a good wind or a good fairway….
Anyone ever come across a Hibore XL that no anything like this? Yes indeed, the red shaft will lower backspin compared to the gold, as long as the designation is the same. It is not all the club however. Do you make that one Lyle?
Non conforming drivers
Hey guys cohforming for the quick replies. Shafts have a lot to do with spin. My biggest problem was being able to get off the box not any more now I am confident on were my ball is going and another plus is I also gained about yards more in distance.

I had just had one of those driving days when every drive sailed long and straight down the middle and I couldn’t believe that I might have to give up my trusty driver Cleveland Launcher just because of a rule change. Fairways are soft around here, once they firm up, I expect to be adding 20 — 30 yds to my driving distances. If you still have the grafalloy shaft and liked it, try putting it in the new XL. I gained yards probably because of less spin on the ball and my friends were impressed and depressed.
I hibote the XL Tour Spec 9. If we are not at fault, and the customer wishes to return the item s for other reasons, the item s must be sent back in their original package and show no sign of use.
I have a When Hiboe try and hit it hard and hit the sweet spot it tends to ballon really high. I took up golf in mid-life last year, playing budget clubs. The XL is very good.
My question is should I go with gold or red shaft?
What do you think? From the tee box I could see that the XL Tour had gone farther but the uphill slope of the fairway prevented a complete view. But when I get back I really want to have some new sticks waiting.

Love the look of the clubhead, not sure why many found it objectionable, love the sound it made and love the way the balls flew. The good shots that I hit were the earliest ones before the round and during the hibors. They send you a hat too and pay for all the conformint. Just traded for this club. The model i tried was the 9. The shafts are by Fujikura, my current personal favorite.
